What's new
Features, fixes, and improvements to LAPometry. The short version lives here; the app tells you when there's something new.
Setup changes, front and center.
Log what you change on your car, and see the result in the run after: best lap, top 5, top 10 and consistency against the run before. The car chart now follows your date range, with full history one click away.
LAPometry is now a paid app.
Pick the plan that fits how many tracks you race: Home ($4.99/mo, 1 track), Regional ($8.99/mo, 3) or Competitor ($12.99/mo, 5). Save with yearly billing, or add tracks for $2.99/mo each. Every plan has every feature, and everything you've added is still here.
Share your race day.
Your driver sheet for any event can now be shared as a link, results table and all, with its own preview image.
Your data, your call.
Download everything you've put into LAPometry from Settings, any time. You can also delete your account there.
Sharing and your plan.
Shared links and public profiles need an active plan. If a plan ends, links go dark, and they come back as they were when you pick a plan again.
Share your practice, reports, and events!
Every driver gets a public profile at lapometry.com/your-name, and you choose exactly what's visible. Share a single practice session, a full report, or a race-day event result as a clean, link-anywhere page — great for pasting into a club chat, a forum, or a text to a teammate.
Shared pages show your lap chart, best and average pace, consistency, and clean-lap count, with your profile photo and a "more from this driver" link back to your other shared runs. You stay in control: anything you haven't shared stays private, and you can revoke a link at any time.
Practice and race, side by side
A Race data toggle folds your race results in alongside practice across Track Stats and reports — leaderboards, driver tables, and over-time charts reflect both with one tap. Flip it off anytime to focus on practice alone.
One sync for practice and race
Syncing now pulls your practice sessions and race results together in a single pass. A full weekend of both comes down in one step, even over long stretches — no separate sync to run.
Hide classes you don't race
On Track Stats you can now tuck away the classes you don't run, so your leaderboards, driver tables, and totals only reflect the racing that matters to you. Hidden classes drop out of the numbers right away — tap "Show all" to peek at them again anytime. Manage the full list for each track from Settings.
More reliable event pages
We fixed an issue where some classes on an event showed no results even though the data was there — rankings and results now appear no matter how the class name was capitalized. Event pages load more consistently across the board.
Fixes and improvements
We tidied up sign-in so you land straight in the app, made the admin user list default to most-recently-seen, and cleaned up a handful of labels and small layout issues across the app.
Your changes show up right away
Rename a transponder, set a default class, or update data anywhere in the app and your reports and stats now refresh on their own. No more hard-refreshing the page to see the latest.
See how a session's class was decided
Session Review now shows a short note explaining which class a session was assigned and where that came from — the track's data, your transponder default, or a manual override you set. If it's ever wrong, you can correct it right there.
Cleaner leaderboards on your phone
Leaderboard rows now stack their numbers neatly on small screens, so nothing overlaps when you're checking results trackside.
Set a default class for each transponder
You can now pin a default class to any transponder from Settings → Transponders. When a practice session doesn't name a class, LAPometry falls back to your default so your reports stay consistent — and you can still override it for a single session from Session Review.
Welcome to the new Lapometry
We rebranded and refreshed the whole app. Same data, sharper look.
